Serves 4

  • 1 can of tuna, drained
  • 1 small can of green beans
  • 50 g anchovies
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 lettuce
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 black olives
  • A few chive stalks

For the dressing:

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Boil the eggs for 10 minutes, cool in a bowl of cold water, and remove shells.
  2. Wash and drain the lettuce and arrange the leaves in the base of a serving dish.
  3. Scatter the beans on top.
  4. Slice the pepper and cut 3 of the tomatoes into quarters.
  5. Break the tuna with a fork and arrange it in the centre of the salad.
  6. Drain the anchovies, and arrange them on top of the salad.
  7. Garnish with olives and finish with the last tomato, cut into slices, and the chopped chives.
  8. To make the salad dressing, mix 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 teaspoons of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of mustard, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  9. Serve immediately.
